Not sure if an email, call or text is really from B M O? Here’s how you can know when it’s really us.

Our Message Center allows us to send you confidential information, including attachments, and lets you respond securely.

  • All messages you send or receive through the Message Center are encrypted, so your personal and financial info is protected.
  • To join the Message Center and start using it, you’ll first receive an email invitation from your B M O representative.

Important: BMO will never contact you via unsolicited email, text or phone call asking for sensitive information, passwords, PINs or verification codes (one-time passcodes). If you get a call, voicemail, email or text from someone claiming to be from BMO and you think it’s suspicious, contact us immediately using the information on the back of your card.

B M O Digital Banking and Bill Pay Service Guarantees

We’ll reimburse you for any losses to your personal banking accounts from unauthorized transactions through B M O Digital Banking. As well, if we fail to process a properly scheduled bill payment in B M O Digital Banking in accordance with your instructions, we’ll reimburse any late charges assessed by the biller.

To ensure reimbursement, you'll need to take a few steps to protect your account information, as outlined in our B M O Digital Banking Agreement.
